A daily commitment
The historic place that houses Hotel Pazeider has been a family property for over 200 years. Its name comes from “Pazeide”, a vessel shaped like a heart that was once used to transfer noble wine from one barrel to another. To remain a wonderful refuge for the rest and relaxation of our guests for many more years, we are committed to sustainability every day. Starting from your arrival: if you have an electric or hybrid car, you can make use of our three fast-charging stations.
Starting with the choice of materials: in the rooms, floors, walls and wardrobes are made of natural oak wood, while in the bathrooms stone prevails. Large glass windows create bright, pleasant and immediately welcoming spaces.
To ensure a comfortable climate in every season, we have developed our own sustainable heating and cooling system, which keeps a constant temperature, avoids energy loss, and consumes much less than a traditional air conditioner.
ENERGY
During the 2014 renovation, the exterior walls were fitted with special thermal insulation and the windows with triple glazing. Here too, only natural materials such as stone, glass, wood, and iron were used, cladding the façade with sustainable solutions. A district heating system was implemented with 50 solar panels on the roof, while excess heat is used for the laundry dryers, which run on hot water instead of electricity, significantly reducing consumption, especially in summer.
NATURE
The sauna area is supplied by our private spring: fresh mountain water feeds the cold plunge pool, the Kneipp path, and provides crystal-clear drinking water. In addition to being always active in waste separation, we use FSC-certified paper, produced from wood from responsibly managed forests. In this way, we contribute to the protection of animals, plants, and natural habitats for future generations.
TASTE
The authenticity of organic, from field to table
In the kitchen too, as a Bio Hotel we use exclusively certified organic products. Our dishes are based on regional and seasonal ingredients, guaranteeing excellent quality and supporting the local economy.
